Packing Operator Wanted at Nordkalk's Björka Facility

At Nordkalk's Björka facility in Glanshammar, we are looking for two packing operators for our production unit for crushed and ground dolomite marble.

We are looking for someone who is positive, engaged, attentive, responsible, and takes initiative, as well as someone who collaborates easily. The work can be both stressful and physically demanding at times, so it is important that you have good physical fitness and can maintain a high pace. You are independent in your role and can take your own initiatives, while also working with a strong focus on safety. Since you will be working in a team, it is also important that you can work in a group and easily create a good atmosphere among your colleagues!

Responsibilities

• Operate the packing line where stone powder is packed in 20-30 kg bags
• Operate the packing line where stone powder is packed in big bags up to 1000 kg
• Take product samples to the lab
• Perform cleaning tasks and light maintenance tasks.

Background and Personal Qualities

To be considered for these summer positions, you must have a valid Swedish driver's license with at least B-class.

You should have industrial experience and forklift experience; a training certificate according to TLP10 is highly meritorious as some tasks will be performed with a forklift. You should be proficient in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.

Employment Duration:

Varied length but is expected to last from spring/early summer until week 33. Possible extension may occur.

Working Hours

2-shift, morning 06:00-14:00 and afternoon 14:00-22:30
